Witnesses sought after person assaulted on train

Police are appealing for information in relation to an assault on the 5.14pm train from Coleraine to Belfast yesterday.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “The incident took place in the rear carriage of the train just before arriving in Antrim Railway Station.

“The victim sustained some injuries as a result of this. We believe a number of commuters may have witnessed this incident.”
