Woman ‘badly shaken’ after Ballymena burglary

A woman was left ‘very badly shaken’ after disturbing burglars at her Ballymena home, it has emerged.

Detectives in Ballymena are appealing for information following the burglary in the Wellbourne Grove area of Ballymena on Sunday, 13 October.

At approximately 6.00pm the occupant of the house disturbed two unknown men in her home. The men made off empty handed. It is believed they may have left in a silver car.

The householder was not injured during this incident however she was left very badly shaken.

Detectives would ask anyone who may have noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them at Ballymena on 0845 600 8000.
