Woman faces theft charges

A Dromore woman appeared before the local court last week facing three counts of theft from her employer.

Gillian Bell (50) from The Belfry is charged with stealing cash on three separate occasions from WJ Baxter Solicitors, Dromore. The charges date from 2010 to 2013 and the total amount of cash allegedly stolen was £1505. Deputy District Judge Mr Joe Rice said this was a “breach of trust” case and he asked Probation Services to prepare reports.

Bell will appear back in court on 24 July.
