Woman stole from employer
A pre-sentence report has been ordered on a woman who stole nearly £2,000 from a local opticians.
Louise Lavery, 34, of Milltown Avenue, Dunmurry, pleaded guilty to 10 charges of stealing cash totalling £1,822 from Alexander Bain and Murray Opticians. The thefts took place between January 2007 and September 2012.
She also pleaded guilty to a charge of fraud by abuse of position whereby she deleted a patient record with the intention to make a gain for herself.
