Woman taken to hospital after County Tyrone house fire

Police are appealing for information after a woman was rescued from a house fire in Dungannon last night.

The blaze at a property on Annaghbeg Road was reported to police shortly after 10:20pm. Police and other emergency services responded.

The woman, who was inside the house, was taken to safety outside where an officer assisted with administering first aid.

She was the only person in the property at the time and was then taken to hospita,l where she remains this morning.

Inspector Stickland said: "Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who helped at the scene last night. Our enquiries into what occurred continue and anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, and quote reference number 1944 of 19/10/20."
