POINT STREET - Vandals caused approximately £1,200 worth of damage by breaking a 12ft x 10ft window.

The damage occurred sometime between 5.00pm on Tuesday and 2.00pm on Wednesday, February 10.

WALNUT PARK - A black Peugeot 206 car bearing the registration number KKZ 3338 was stolen.

It is understood that the vehicle, which was recovered nearby, was stolen sometime between 11.30pm on Tuesday and 10.15am on Wednesday, February 10. Anyone who noticed the car being driven on roads in the area is asked to contact the police at Larne.

CIRCULAR ROAD - A Samsung X120 laptop computer has been stolen from a shop at Laharna Retail Park.

The computer, which has been valued around 399, was taken sometime between 2.00pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 10. Anyone offered a similar computer for sale from an unusual source or at an unrealistic price is asked to contact the police at Larne.

CARNLOUGH - At approximately 2.10am on Saturday, three masked men attempted to force the door of a convenience store on High Street before smashing the window.

The men then became aware of the shop owner inside the premises and made off in a silver car.

MAIN STREET - Cash was stolen from a shop during a burglary, which was discovered around 9.10am on Monday.

SANDA DRIVE - A house was broken into and a room was ransacked, but it is not believed that anything was stolen during the incident, which was discovered around 7.00pm on Saturday.

MAIN STREET - A substantial quantity of gold and silver jewellery were stolen from premises during a break-in, which was discovered around 3.00am on Saturday.

Stolen items include watches, rings, necklaces, bracelets and broaches. Investigating detectives want to hear from anyone who witnessed the burglary or from anyone offered similar items from an unusual source or at an unrealistic price.

BALLYCARRY - Vandals have scored the paintwork of a car parked on the village’s Main Street. The damage, which has been estimated between 1,000 and 1,500, occurred overnight on Friday.

ARRAN GARDENS - Windows of a parked car were broken around 10.35pm on Friday.

GLENARM - A 20 year-old-man from the village is expected to appear at Larne Magistrate’s Court on March 12, charged with making threats to commit arson and criminal damage. The charges arise from an incident that occurred in Larne on Friday, February 12.

CARSON STREET - A window of a house was broken around 2.00am on Sunday. Police at Larne are investigating and want witnesses to contact them. In particular they want to speak to a woman described as being 30-40 years old, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, who was seen in the area around the time.

ISLANDMAGEE - Intruders have broken into a house at Low Road in Islandmagee. The householder discovered a window had been forced open around 1.00pm on Friday. At this stage it is not believed that anything was taken.

FAIRWAY - Police are treating as suspicious a fire that caused extensive damage to a parked car. The blaze was extinguished by members of the Fire And Rescue Service, who were called to the scene around 10.40pm on Friday.

CAIRNGORM DRIVE - A 42” Whardale LCD television set has been stolen from a house after intruders forced open the door sometime between the night of Wednesday, February 10 and 10.00 pm on Monday.
