This group of pupils are very highly motivated and have responded very positively to all of the encouragement and support they have been given in Cross and Passion. We are very proud of them and indeed of the children of all abilities in our school.

We have just completed our third year as a Specialist School for Sport and as part of this programme the college was required to set very challenging targets for achievement across all subjects. Mrs Ward is delighted at the results at all key stages in the college. 'We continue to improve the results in the school year on year. Many children are exceeding all expectations.' The Key stage 3 results for English and Maths were a record high for the school.

Mrs Ward attributes this success to very sound teaching and outstanding support and encouragement for the children from the support staff and their parents. 'There is a strong family atmosphere in Cross and Passion and we continue to strive to get the very best from pupils of all abilities in our school.
