Cross-community arts project
MOYLE Council has given a £250 grant under its Good Relations Scheme to Corrymeela towards the Corrymeela Diversity Arts Academy.
The programme seeks to involved children of primary school are from the Ballycastle and wider Moyle area for a week of sessions lasting two hours per day from August 9-13.
The programme will be based around the arts which will include crafts, arts, drama, dance and music. The theme is building bridges and the children will be recruited and divided into groups on a cross-community basis, Moyle Council was told.
