Cross community event planned
ACTION with Effect, a Londonderry based overseas charity founded by Eamon Melaugh, is holding a cross community sponsored walk for the street children, lepers and orphans of India.
Children from Currynierin, Lettershandoney, Tullyally, and the Fountain will unite to raise money for five volunteers going to India October for a month to work and for these people.
The event will be held at St Columb’s Park on July 31.
