The handsome little man was recently surrendered to the County Antrim sanctuary as his owners no longer wanted him, abandoning him at his livery yard.

Mojo’s right eye was badly damaged due to a condition called uvetis and required surgery to remove it as well as a two-week recovery stay at the vets.

Thankfully it all went well and Mojo is now preparing to go out to his new home.

The little horse’s eye was a long-standing problem and since his surgery at Christmas he has been much happier.

He is no longer in pain and Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary would like to thank everyone who helped him, especially Hugh Sufferon from Tullyraine Vets, who nursed him at his own home over Christmas following his operation.
