Crumlin boy carries flame through Newtownabbey
17-YEAR-OLD Michael Rae, from Crumlin, carried the Olympic Torch through Newtownabbey on Sunday.
Michael was chosen as one of Coca-Cola’s Future Flames – inspiring young people who use their passions in music, sport and environment to spread happiness in their communities.
Michael, an aspiring architect, wants to regenerate deprived areas and to design architecture that makes people stop and appreciate its beauty.
