Crumlin ladies enjoy festive atmosphere
Everyone enjoyed the Christmas party atmosphere at Crumlin WI’s December meeting with John Duncan providing the evening’s music as accompanist for the carol singing.
Some members recalled memories of Christmases past. Those who didn’t paid a forfeit to ‘Pennies for Friendship.’ Iris Graham informed members they possibly consume 6,000 calories on Christmas Day. The ladies ignored this to enjoy a festive supper provided by the committee.
Donations were received for the Antrim Breast Care Unit.
Winners for monthly competitions: Birthday Girl and ballot were Shirley Hamill, Cherith Wilson and Barbara White respectively.
President Yvonne Duncan wished all a Happy Christmas. The next meeting will be Wednesday, January 8.
