Crumlin man was director of textile firm

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment has accepted a disqualification undertaking for four years from the director of a textile company.

The undertakings were accepted from William Devlin (40) of Carmavy Road, Nutts Corner, Crumlin in respect of his conduct as a director of ND Textiles Ltd.

The Company carried on the business of hotel operator from the Seagoe Hotel, Upper Church Lane, Portadown and went into liquidation on 17 September 2010 with estimated total assets available to creditors of £4,400, liabilities to unsecured creditors of £420,706, and an estimated deficiency as regards creditors of £416,306. After taking into account the losses incurred by members of the Company the total estimated deficiency was £416,309.
