CRUN course on substance misuse

CAUSEWAY Rural and Urban Network is looking for participants for its Level 2 Community Drugs and Alcohol Awareness – Next Steps.

This accredited programme aims to enable participants to become more aware of community issues related to substance misuse.

It is also tailored to develop their knowledge and skills by exploring their attitudes and enabling them to become more effective in supporting their communities in addressing substance misuse issues.

If you live or work in the Ballymoney, Moyle or Coleraine areas and would like to access this accredited programme, it is now available and will be running in the Jim Watt Sports Centre, Garvagh, starting on Thursday, September 13 from 7pm to 9.00pm.

It will run for ten consecutive Thursdays until November 15.

Priority will be given to groups/individuals residents in central ward Coleraine, Millburn, Ballysally, The Heights and Killowen areas of Coleraine, substance misusing parents, women’s groups and older people’s community groups with a special focus on young adults aged 18 to 25.
