CRUN welcome Shadow Secretary of State during Coleraine visit

CAUSEWAY Rural and Urban Network (CRUN) was delighted to welcome Vernon Coaker, the Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland to their new premises at Stable Lane in Coleraine last week.

Mr Coaker was accompanied by East Londonderry MP Gregory Campbell and both were very interested in the work that CRUN does.

Mr Coaker was introduced to members of CRUN’S Board of Directors and a discussion was held over current issues in Coleraine which are similar to mainland Britain.

Ann McNickle, CRUN’s Project Manager, gave an overview of each of the projects this was followed with an informal yet informative conversation with project officers within CRUN.

Mr Coaker was very impressed with the amount of work that is carried out by CRUN. He thanked all the staff for the hard work that they do and said that whilst sometimes they might not realise it, but he wanted to reassure them that what they do “does make a difference”.
