“AS results were a cause for celebration with 90% success rate across all subjects.

“Particular praise should be given to Rebekah Cubitt, Stephanie Lennox, Christopher McKay, Rebecca Nicholl, and Lauren Finlay who achieved As and Bs in all subjects.

“The results once again reflect the professional input and dedication of teaching staff and the continued support of parents,” he said.

“Success in exams at any level cannot be achieved without the total commitment of students, staff and parents working together towards the meeting of individually tailored targets and seeking to maximise potential. Our thanks to them all.”

Mr Young added: “We would register our thanks to our partner schools in Ballymena Learning Together, in particular Dunclug College, Northern Regional College, Slemish College and St Patrick’s College, who have hosted many of our students in their subject choices and have looked after their on site learning and pastoral needs throughout their times of study.

“The Governors, Principal and staff wish our students every success in the future.”
