Cullybackey society looks back to 1901

CULLYBACKEY & District Historical Society invite you to join them this Thursday, April 18, for a talk by Dr Bill Macafee on ‘Griffiths Valuation and the 1901 Census for Cullybackey and the surrounding area’ in the Dr John McKelvey Community Centre, Cullybackey at 8pm.

Retired University of Ulster lecturer Dr Macafee, has for many years taken a special interest in Griffiths Valution and the 1901.

At this months meeting he will demonstrate how useful these resources are for historians and those interested in family history by talking to them about a number of families from the local area and sharing what he has found out about them.
