Cullybackey woman pens book for Children's Hospice

CULLYBACKEY resident Rosemary Fletcher has written a children's book entitled 'Brothers and Sisters', the proceeds of which will go towards a very special project that's being supported by Methodist Women in Ireland.

Any money generated from sales of the book will be used to support the construction and development of Horizon West, a new children’s hospice that is being built in Killadeas, Co. Fermanagh.

Writing the storybook has been a labour of love for Rosemary, who is the wife of the minister of Cullybackey Methodist Church, Dr. Brian Fletcher.

It has been beautifully illustrated by Carol Gilmore, a member of Carnalea Methodist Church in Bangor, and tells the story in verse of eight little kittens who have a lot of fun together.

‘Brothers and Sisters’ costs 5, and thanks to sponsorship that covered the cost of printing, the full amount will go towards the hospice.

It is available in ‘The Mustard Seed’, Main Street, Cullybackey.
