Cullycapple racers success at F1 Challenge

They were judged to have the best engineered car on Day One of the competition.

As you can imagine, they were over the moon with their success and celebrated with a McDonald's on the way home. There were 23 teams in the competition so they were very proud that "our wee car was considered the best". The judges were engineers from FG Wilson and the education boards. Congratulations go to Groggan Zoom who were the overall winners and had a marvellous time, breaking the 1 second barrier for the first time. The team would like to thank their team kit sponsors, RF Mechanical Services and Skydive Wild Geese, while the DK Autos and LJNdeSigns helped them to win this major prize by helping them finish off their car to such a high standard. Thanks also go to Mr. Martin and Mr. Caldwell for transporting them to Cultra.
