Cunningham praises Coastguard and RNLI following rescue operation

Dónal Cunningham, Chair of Moyle Council, has praised the Coastguard Rescue Teams and the RNLI following the successful rescue of two kayakers at the base of cliffs on Carrick-a-Rede Island on Saturday.

Shortly before 1.10 pm Belfast Coastguard received a report of two kayakers stranded at the base of cliffs on Carrick-a Rede island, following the capsize of their boats.
