Cup Cakes wins award

THE long awaited release of 'Cup Cakes' the film produced in Ballymoney looks like its heading for success.

The film, which involved local man John Leslie of Wee Buns Productions, won the Audience Award at the Belfast Film Festival.

Cup Cakes premiered at the film festival in April and went down a treat.

The big question for locals though is when will it be brought to Ballymoney so that those who participated as ‘extras’ can see it.

The answer according to Mr. Leslie is in June when it is likely to be staged at Leslie Hill Farm.

Mr. Leslie has promised to provide information closer to the time, but has assured people it will take place.
