Curran praises St Patrick's choir win

Banbridge Councillor Brendan Curran has congratulated St Patrick's Primary School Drumgreenagh on becoming the Junior Radio Ulster School Choir of the Year.

The Rathfriland School’s tremendous initial performance of ‘Can You Hear Me?’ and ‘Ching-A-Ring-Chaw’ put them through to a head to head final with the Holy Family Primary School, Omagh.

Cllr Curran said: “The overall excellence of their recital and the extraordinary range of skills displayed during Sunday’s performance in the Ulster Hall are testimony to the dedication and hard work of these young pupils and their mentors.”
