Curtis in tune for charity

POPULAR entertainer Curtis Magee who is a regular performer in Mid-Ulster has a lot to sing about these days and it’s all for a good cause.

With 27 albums, 10 DVDs on the market and a full diary of engagements, Curtis remains one of the busiest entertainers on the circuit today, but this popular young man still finds time in his busy schedule to help those in need by raising money every year for charities close to his heart.

Every June at his now highly acclaimed Fanfayre, fans and friends flock from Cookstown and Magherafelt , to join Curtis for four days of non stop entertainment at The Lodge Hotel in Coleraine.

During this festival of music, Curtis takes the opportunity to raise vast amounts of money for charity.

This year he managed to raise the princely sum of £1400 for two local charities Defibrillators for Coleraine Area Sport and Parkinson’s Disease.

Over the past seven years of the Fanfayre he has raised over £14,000.
