Cushendall beach to be repaired

Cushendall beach in addition to Legge Green will be repaired and reinstated in a matter of weeks following last weeks storms along the coast.

The commitment was received by Independent Councillor Padraig McShane after a meeting with senior officers of Moyle District Council.

Councillor McShane praised the staff and colleagues of Moyle who accompanied him on a visual inspection of the site as the last of the spring tides was ebbing.

“The quick response and ultimately the speedy repairs reaffirm the Council’s commitment to maintaining pleasant beach fronts along the coast of Moyle”.
