Cushendall crash

At 1pm on Sunday 3rd July, police received a report of a vehicle having crashed into a ditch on the Ballybrack Road, Cushendall. On arrival of police three males were on the Ballybrack Road. One male, a 20 year old with a Loughgiel address, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit. A second male, aged 22 years, with a Loughgiel address was also arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit and the third male, a 27 year old with a Cushendun address, was arrested for disorderly Behaviour, Obstructing Police and on suspicion of Criminal Damage. All three have been released on police bail.

Windows broken

Between 12.30 pm and 2.30pm on Sunday 3rd July, 2 front windows in a dwelling house on Ballybrack Road, Cushendall, were broken with small rocks. Police are investigating a possible link to the 3 earlier arrests on the Ballybrack Road.

Man arrested

At 1.30am on Monday 4th July, a 43-year-old male with an address in Armoy was arrested on suspicion for driving with Excess Alcohol. This male has been charged to appear at North Antrim Magistrates’ Court on 27th July.
