Customer award for Larne optician’s

Specsavers in Larne has received an Excellence in Customer Service accolade at the prestigious Company Awards.

The Main Street optician beat competition from over 700 other Specsavers stores throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland to take the title at the company’s Awards for Excellence held at Birmingham ICC (International Convention Centre).

The award was assessed by six mystery shopper visits throughout the year as well as customer feedback.

Darren Caulfied, ophthalmic director said: “It is an honour to receive this award for excellence in customer service. We pride ourselves on offering outstanding customer service and endeavour to always go the extra mile. We opened the Larne store in 2013 and we have been fortunate to win this Customer Service Award each year.

“On behalf of myself and fellow director Deirdre McAree, I would like to thank our staff for continually exceeding expectations in customer service.

“As a celebration of the store’s achievement, we would like to bring back our very popular free sight test offer as a thank you to all of our existing customers and to all new customers.”
