Dalriada Hospital public meetings planned for Bushmills and Ballymoney

The campaign to fight the closure of the Dalriada Hospital in Ballycastle is to move to Bushmills and Ballymoney.

Members of Moyle District Council heard on Monday that public meetings are planned for both areas.

The Bushmills meeting will take place in Dunluce School on Tuesday, November 18th.

A venue is still being finalised for the Ballymoney meeting and plans are also afoot to organise meetings in Loughguile and Mosside.

To date, there have been public meetings organised in Ballycastle and Cushendall as well as daily pickets outside the hospital and a white line protest in Ballycastle town centre.
