Dalriada success in Physics at Home
ON 24th March two teams from Dalriada travelled to Queens' University to enter the annual Physics @ Home competition.
The team of four girls performed a presentation called "Egg in your face" which used spinning eggs to show their understanding of inertia.
The team of three boys performed a presentation called "Wobbling Weebles" to show their understanding of centre of gravity and stability.
The school was delighted when the girls' team were announced as runners up, with each team member receiving prizes of 25 vouchers for HMV.
