Over the years they have raised £18,410 for charity.

Class teacher Sharon Hendron said “Our nominated charity for 2012/13 was the Praxis Care scheme at St Paul’s Court, Lisburn. This purpose built accommodation provides support for people with dementia and their families, without taking away their independence. Therefore, we were delighted to present manager Kelly Devlin and resident representatives Dinah Chapman and Sam Bird with a cheque for £2,500 to help fund their new garden project.”

“Brookmount Dance Ranch and Belsize Kickers try to support a different Northern Ireland based charity every year and this latest effort brings the clubs’ fund-raising total to £18,410.”

Classes are held on Mondays at Lowquarters Orange Hall, for Improvers and Thursdays at Lisburn Masonic Hall, Belsize Rd. for beginners. Both classes run from 7.30-9.30pm For more information call Sharon on 07761 090 185.
