Dates for bin collection over festive period

The blue bin is due for collection during Christmas week and householders are asked to have their bins kerbside from 7.30am on the designated day.

Arrangements are as follows: Christmas week – Blue bin collection - Monday 24th December – collection as normal; Tuesday 25th December – will be collected on Saturday 22nd December; Wednesday 26th December – will be collected on Saturday 29th December; Thursday 27th December – collection as normal; Friday 28th December – collection as normal

The following week the green bin is due for collection, once again bins must be kerbside from 7.30am on the designated day.

New Year week – Green bin collection - Monday 31 December – collection as normal; Tuesday 1st January – will be collected on Saturday 5th January; Wednesday 2nd January – collection as normal; Thursday 3rd January – collection as normal; Friday 4th January – collection as normal

Council would also like to remind anyone who receives an assisted collection and whose bin collection day is affected to please ensure that access to the bin is available on the alternate day.
