SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 - Table quiz and light supper in Ballycarry Presbyterian church hall, Hillhead Road, starting at 7.45pm.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24 - Cairncastle Ulster-Scots monthly soiree takes place in the Halfway House, Ballygally, this month. Scottish singers Tony and Mathew Collins join the usual line-up. Starts at 8.00pm.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25 - Charity breakfast in the Highways Hotel organised by the Rotary Club of Larne, from 7.45am to 9am. Speaker will be local musician and cricket coach Esler Burke. All proceeds will go to the British Diabetic Association. Tickets 12, including raffle, payable at the door.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26 - Fun quiz in Larne Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club, starting at 7.30 pm. Admission 3 per person. All proceeds going to Larne Youth. Everyone welcome.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27 - Visit of a potato consultant from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development at Inver Garden Centre, Millbrook to give free advice on growing your own potatoes.

SATURDAY, MARCH 6 - Night at the Races in aid of Cairncastle Flute Band in Larne Football Social Club, Station Road. First race at 8pm, admission is 3.
