David sparkles withjewellery story
The President of Portstewart Women’s Institute, Susan Lyons ,welcomed members and two visitors, Carol and Lily, to the March meeting in Agherton Church Hall.
Guest speaker David Martin related part two of his story of working in the jewellery trade and how he came to set up his shops in Coleraine. Kathleen Bedi was celebratedher birthday with cake and atea.
The monthly competition for a ‘Trinket Box’ was won by Grace Foster and Helen Jamieson won the Primrose Dick Cup for a ‘Knitted Pencil Case’.
David judged both competitions. The evening closed with the Countrywoman’s Song.
