Davy's showstopper!

HE'S battled freezing temperatures during his annual pre-Christmas sit-out, bag-packed in supermarkets, walked around the Triangle and jailed local celebrities - all in the name of charity fundraising.

Now Coleraine's Caring Caretaker has a fantastic new fundraiser up his sleeve which will appeal to music lovers everywhere.

On Friday, November 26, Londonderry Musical Society and the Britannia Brass and Reed Brand will present "Showstoppers 2010" in Coleraine High School in aid of the Caring Caretaker's chosen charities.

The two groups annually present this fantastic night of musical entertainment in aid of local charities and this year, Davy Boyle's charities will be the recipients.

Showstoppers is always a hugely popular event which sells out very quickly. It features favourites from the shows, musical theatre and light opera as well as the best of classical band music and toe-tapping melodies.

Tickets are priced at 10 for this musical spectacular and are available from Caring Caretaker Davy Boyle on 07881916153.

The concert on November 26th begins at 8pm and all proceeds will go towards the Caring Caretaker's chosen charities this year - Motor Neurone Disease, Samaritans, Cystic Fibrosis, Age Concern, Parkinsons, Chest, Heart and Stroke and the Neo-Natal unit at Antrim.
