Dawn chorus event at Gransha
On Saturday (May 3) from 5.30am to 7am at Learmount Forest and on Saturday (May 10) from 5.30am to 7am at Gransha Woodland, Faughan Valley Landscape Partnership are hosting Dawn Chorus walks as part of the International Dawn Chorus celebrations.
Annie Mullan, Community Engagement Officer with Faughan Valley Landscape Partnership, explains: “Both these woodlands are great places to listen to bird song and Mary Montague who has spent years studying birdsong really helps you to understand the different songs, who is singing and why.
“We would advise anyone interested in attending to book early to avoid disappointment as these walks are always one of the most popular of our annual calendar of events!”
