Daylight robbery in Limavady carpark

Police in Limavady are appealing for information in relation to a robbery that occurred in the area of Lidl Car Park in Limavady at about noon today (Monday, May 18, 2015).

Inspector Jenny Hudson said: “A 62-year-old shopper was grabbed and her handbag was taken. A 20-year-old male has been arrested.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses in the area to come forward to Limavady detectives on 101. Information can also be given by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
