Deadline for Bloom entries
The deadline is approaching for a number of categories in this year’s Carrickfergus in Bloom competition.
Participants have until Sunday (July 20) to submit entries for Best Kept Front Garden, Best Kept Front Container Garden, Best Kept Community Planting Scheme, Best Kept Commercial Premises and Best Kept Pub or Hotel.
Under 15s have until September 30 to submit their entries for the painting and poetry competitions, while the deadline for the Tallest Sunflower category is September 1.
The competitions, with a total prize fund of up to £1200, are organised every year by Carrickfergus Borough Council.
