Dean cooks up a storm at Kids in the Kitchen

BROUGHSHANE teenager, Dean McMullin has followed in the footsteps of his culinary idol, Giorgio Locatelli, at the Kids in the Kitchen Cookery Course.

Dean was the first to be registered for the course and was undoubtedly one of its most enthusiastic students.

Professional chef tutors inspire the children to cook with imagination, passion and enjoyment in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Dean has Worchester Drought Syndrome (WDS) – which is a form of cerebral palsy but despite having WDS Dean made a considerable contribution to the course, a spokesperson has said.

“He is such a gregarious and sociable character who bases his culinary and cooking skills on his most favourite idol chef – none other than Giorgio Locatelli, the famous Italian UK based chef.

“Dean often reminded other students and tutors of his passion for Giorgio’s work by speaking and singing to the group in Broughshane’s finest Italian voice, Dean even had the tutor convinced he had requested for Giorgio to visit the course!
