Death in Moira ‘not suspicious’

POLICE say that they are not treating the death of a man found in a swimming pool at a private house in Moira in the early hours of Sunday morning as suspicious.

It is believed that the body was found during a house party at the dwelling.

Police confirmed that they had been called to the house after receiving a report of a sudden death.

Following the results of a post-mortem examination police say they are not treating the death as suspicious.

Local councillor Alderman Jim Dillon said it was extremely sad news and he expressed sympathy to the man’s family.
