Death in the local community

JANE PHILOMENA CUNNINGHAM

Jane Cunningham passed away peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on May 3rd.

Jane, late of Manor Court and formerly of Pines Park, Lurgan, was the beloved wife of the late Richard and dearest mother of David and Richard.

She was the mother-in-law of Margaret, and a dear friend of Richard’s partner Irene, a much loved granny of Kathy, Adam and Coleen, and a great-granny.

A private funeral service took place on Wednesday, followed by a committal in Lurgan Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, can be made to The Stroke Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital, c/o Milne Funeral Services, 57 Tandragee Road, Lurgan.

Deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

HAZEL BAXTER

The death occurred of Hazel Baxter on May 4th, after a short illness.

Late of Irwin Avenue, Lurgan, Hazel was the beloved sister of Beryl; dearest mother of June, Sandra and Paul; mother-in-law of Phil, Adrian and Linda, as well as a much loved granny and great-granny.

The funeral left her late home on Friday for committal in Roselawn Crematorium.

Hazel will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

WILLIAM BEATTIE ARLOW

William Beattie Arlow passed away at hospital on May 7th.

William was the dearly loved husband of Martha, beloved father of Elaine and Ann, and devoted Granda to Jamie and Mikael.

His funeral was held in Church of the Nazarene on Sunday, followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

MARY ELIZABETH DOWEY

On May 7th, Mary Dowey passed away peacefully at her home.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Bob and loving mother of Robert, Joseph and Harold.

Her funeral service took place in Newmills Presbyterian Church on Sunday, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters-in-law June, Jennifer and Edith, grandchildren and family circle.

WINNIFRED EUNICE ANDERSON

Winnifred Anderson died peacefully at hospital on May 9th.

She was the loving wife of John; dear mother of Gilbert and Lavina; mother-in-law of Helen and Ian; much loved grandmother of Janice, Matthew, Alwyn and Steven, and great-grandmother of Boyd and Emma.

The funeral was held from her late home in Banbridge, and she was interred in Banbridge New Cemetery on Monday.

Winnifred will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the entire family circle.
