Death of Jackie Henry
Mr. Henry, who was 72-years-old, passed away at Dalriada Hospital following a long illness.
A popular and likeable member of the community, Mr. Henry worked for Moyle District Council, but had retired some years ago.

Hide AdHe will be best known for his involvement in the Ballycastle and District Pool League - a competition he organised for years.
Mr. Henry’s ability to co-ordinate the matches and ensure the smooth running of the competition was acknowledged last year when he was presented with a gift by the chairman of Moyle Council, Paudie McShane.
At the time, Cllr. McShane praised Mr. Henry for adding to the local economy by bringing teams to the town on a weekly basis.
Cllr. Seamus Blaney lived beside Mr. Henry for a number of years and said he was a decent man who will be missed by the community.

Hide AdMr. Henry’s funeral took place on Saturday from his home to Ramoan Parish Church. Burial took place in the adjoining churchyard.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife, Peggy, and children, Grace, Jacqueline, Thomas and Mandy to whom sympathy is extended.
