Deaths in the community

The death occurred of Iris Scott on January 8, peacefully at her Russell Drive home in Lurgan.

She was the beloved sister of Eileen.

Funeral Service was in Lurgan Gospel Hall Malcolm Road on Sunday, followed by interment in Holy Trinity Churchyard Waringstown.

Elizabeth Jane Logan

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Jane Logan (née Morrison) Logan/Elizabeth Jane (neè Morrison) on January 9, peacefully at hospital.

She was the wife of the late James A. Logan (Old Church Lane, Aghalee)

Funeral Service was in Moira Presbyterian Church on Tuesday followed by interment in adjoining Burying Ground.

Theresa Madelaine (Terry) Walls

Theresa Madelaine (Terry) Walls passed away suddenly at home on January 9th.

Sher was the beloved partner of Dessie and much loved mother of Kara and dear sister of Rose, Diana and Gina.

Her funeral Service takes place in Malcomsons Funeral Home on Wednesday (January 13) at 2pm followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Stewart Colin Alexander Agnew on January 8th.

He was the beloved son of Sharon and Colin, father of Shea and much loved brother of Jenny.

His Funeral Service took place in Craigavon Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, followed by private family interment in Kernan Cemetery.

Martin McCormick

Martin McCormick passed away suddenly on January 8.

He was the beloved son of Philomena (Breen), a dear stepson of Jim and loving brother of Eileen, Kelly and PJ, a much loved uncle of Daisy and Zak and brother-in-law of Jason.

Funeral took place from his home, Moyraverty Meadows on Tuesday to St Anthony’s Church for Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s cemetery.

The death occurred of Anna Maria Florence Monteith on January 10 peacefully at hospital

She was the wife of the late Dermot Monteith, Beechpark, Lurgan, and mother of Richard and Rosamund grandmother of Edward, Robert and Samuel, sister of Jack Sleator.

House and funeral strictly private.

Gerald (Soup) Campbell

The death has occurred of Gerald (Soup) Campbell, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on January 10

Gerald, from Garland Court, was the loving father of Natalie and much loved Grandad of Merryn, father-in-law of Rupak and a dear brother of Ann and Hugh and the late Noel, Marie, Jean, Eileen, Eugene and Michael.

Funeral from his sister Ann’s residence, 9 Lavery Avenue on Wednesday at 9.45am to St Peter’s Church Lurgan for 10.30am Requiem Mass.

Burial afterwards in St Colman’s cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing daughter, granddaughter, son-in-law, sister, brother and entire family circle.
