The death took place, in his 99th year, of John William (Johnny) Bateman, late of Windsor Avenue, Lurgan, on December 25.

He was the husband of the late Violet and father of Betty, William and the late Freda and Jacqueline, father-in-law of David, Sharon and 
Barry, and a much-loved grandfather and great-grandfather.

The funeral service took place on Monday, December 29 at 12noon in Shankill Parish Church followed by interment in Moira Parish Churchyard.

Joseph (Joe) Burns

The death took place on December 27 of Joseph 
(Joe) Burns formerly of Arthur Street, Lurgan 
and London.

He was the father of Ann and Eileen and uncle of Kathleen and Jess.

His funeral took place in Kiltimath.

Carol Douglas

The death took place on January 2, peacefully at Mahon Hall, of Carol Douglas, late of Deans Road, Bleary.

She was the wife of the late Gordon and mother of George and a former member of staff of Maralin VIllage Primary School.

Her funeral service was in Knocknamuckley Parish Church on Monday followed by interment in adjoining churchyard.

Donations in lieu of flowrers may be made for Bleary and Knocknamuckley Sunday Schools and Guide dogs for the Blind, care of Malcomsons Funeral Service,

Francis Kelly

The death took place on January 3, peacefully at Aughnacloy House, of Frank (Francis) Kelly of Ashdene Park, Taghnevan.

He was the husband of the late Mary and father of Theresa, Donna and Ian and grandfather of Sinead, Gary, Stefano, Stefan, Monica and Fionn,

His funeral was on Monday to St Paul’s Church with interment afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery,

Pauline Nuttall

The death took place on January 3, peacefully at home, of Pauline Nuttall (nee Canning), Coronation Street, Lurgan.

She was the wife of Gordon, daughter of James and Rose Canning, sister of Charles, Michael and the 
late Stephen.

Trevor Coffey

On January 4 the death took place peacefully at hospital of Trevor Coffey, late of 1 Kiddswell Road, Donaghcloney.

He was the husband of Vivien and father of Wesley and Elizabeth.

His funeral service 
was in Waringstown Presbyterian Church on Wednesday followed by interment 
in adjoining burying ground.

home surrounded by his family, of Liam Thornbury, formerly of 
Elmwood Terrace.

He was the husband of the late Kathleen, father of 
Carmel, Jacinta and Denise and grandfather of 
Danielle, Ciara, Ruairi, Eamon, Conor, Niamh 
and Orlagh.

His funeral was on Thursday to St Paul’s Church followed by interment at St Colman’s.

The death took place on January 10, peacefully at Rosemount Nursing Home, Margarita (Rita) Donnelly, North Street, Lurgan.

Elizabeth Uprichard

The death took place on January 10, peacefully at Lurgan Hospital, of Elizabeth (Lilian) Uprichard late of Trasna Way, Lurgan.

She was the wife of the late Sam and mother 
of Derek, Charles and 
Ramona.

Her funeral service in Shankill Parish Church was on Tuesday followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Derryloiste Road, Derrytrasna.

He was the son of Bronach and Andy and brother of Clare, Christopher and Ciara.

cemetery.
