Deaths in the community

The death took place on September 22, suddenly, of Gerard McAree (Gerdyboo), formerly of Drumellan, Craigavon.

He was the father of Anthony, Jody and the late Gerard, son of Margaret, and brother of Linda, Kathleen, Maggie, Geraldine, Martin, Patrick and Michael.

His funeral was on Friday to St John’s Church, Lylo followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

John Campbell

The death took place on September 24, peacefully at Craigavon Hospital, of John Campbell, Diamond Lane, Aghalee.

He was the husband of Mary (nee Tinsley) and father of Majella (Savage), Sean, Anne-Teresa (Morgan), Neil and Patricia (McCullagh) and the late Brendan, Liam and Maurice, and brother of Henry, Sammy, Thomas and the late Sarah.

His funeral was on Friday to St Patrick’s Church followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Edward Furphy

The death took place on September 24 of Edward Furphy, Tannaghmore North Road, Lurgan.

He was the husband of the late Elizabeth and father of Patsy, Ted, Mary, Margaret, Teresa, Raymond, Joan, John, Paul Mark and the late
Gerald.

His funeral was on Saturday to St Peter’s Church followed by interment at St Colman’s Cemetery.

Eileen Doran

The death took place on September 27, peacefully at Craigavon Hospital, of Eileen Doran (nee Leathem), Woodville Avenue, Lurgan.

She was the wife of the late Patsy, mother of Seamus, mother-in-law of Christine, grandmother to Sarah, John and James, sister of Joshua and sister-in-law of Ethna.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Peter’s Church followed by interment at St Colman’s Cemetery.
