Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully at his home on October 16 of Geoffrey Cousins, 8 Dromore Road, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Pamela and father of Gary and Susan.

Also regretted by daughter-in-law Claudia, son-in-law Paul and grandchildren Luke, David and Amelia.

His funeral was on Friday to Lurgan Elim Church with interment in Magheralin Parish Church.

Seamus McKenna

The death took place on October 17 of Seamus McKenna, Dublin, and formerly of Derryadd, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Phyllis, father of Michael and Siobhan and grandfather of Samantha, Danielle and Andrew.

The son of the late John and Susan McKenna he was the brother of Patsy, Geraldine, Stella, Alma, Amy and the late Marie.

His funeral service was on Saturday in Garrison Church, McKee Barracks, Dublin.

Raymond Emerson

Raymond Emerson died peacefully at hospital on October 19.

He was the husband of Irene, 79 Ardmore Road, Derryadd, and the father of John, David, Leslie and Hazel.

Also regretted by son-in-law Andrew, daughters-in-law Heather and Janice, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and all the family circle.

His funeral as on Tuesday to Ardmore Gospel Hall with interment in Ardmore Parish Churchyard.

David Patrick Dunwoodie

The death took place suddenly on October 20 of David Patrick Dunwoodie, 19 Ennis Tarry. Lurgan.

He was the brother of Sophie Quinn.

Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters and family circle.

His funeral was on Wednesday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Sheila Magee

Sheila Magee, nee Walsh, died peacefully on October 20 at Craigavon Area Hospital.

She was the husband of the late Tommy, 52 Grattan Street, Lurgan, and mother of Tony, Lucille, Bernadette, Marie, Caitlin, Eunan and the late Rosemary.

Her funeral was on Tuesday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colmans’ Cemetery.

Brian McCann

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on October 19 of Brian McCann, son of the late Patrick and Annie McCann, The Wood, Lurgan.

He was the brother of Marie, Tony, Patricia, Sean, Jerome and Patsy.

His funeral was on Monday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Brian McGeown

The death took place peacefully at Lurgan Hospital on October 18 of Brian McGeown, husband of the late Sheila, 4 Parknasilla Crescent, Aghagallon.

He was the father of Sheila, Agnes, Bernie, Brian, Roisin, Lucia, Stephen, Sinead, Barry, Julie and Kevin.

He was the granda of David, Keva, Niall, Robyn, Blake, Callum, Kian, Saoirse, Tiarna, Jack and Caollaidhe and brother-in-law of Sean and the late Florence Henderson.

His funeral was on Monday to St Patrick’s Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Rosaleen Montgomery

The death took place peacefully at Lakeview Nursing Home, Crumlin, on October 20 of Rosaleen Montgomemry, nee McShane.

She was the wife of the late William, formerly of Monbrief Walk, Taghnevan, and mother of Chris, Maureen, Margaret, Jacqueline and Thomas.

Also regretted by daughters-in-law Bernadette and Mandy, sons-in-law John and Martin, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family circle.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.
