Deaths in the Community

The death has taken place peacefully at hospital of Mary Frances (Cissie) Livingston on October 2.

From Thornhill Park, Lurgan, Cissie is the wife of the late Sammy and loving mother of Anne, mother-in-law of Andy and grandmother of Philip, David and Nina. She is also mourned by her great-grandchildren and family circle.

Her funeral was in the Salvation Army Citadel in Union Street Lurgan followed by interment at Lurgan Cemetery.

Mary Patricia Skelton

The death has taken place of Mary Patricia Skelton peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on October 3.

She is the wife of Desmond and mother of Paul, Ann, Desmond, Shane, Eugene and Brendan.

She is the daughter of the late Patrick and Kathleen Austin and sister of the late Brendan.

Her funeral was from her home at Derrytrasna Road on Friday to St Mary’s Church, Derrytrasna for Requiem Mass with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.

Peter Alexander Pedlow

The death has taken place suddenly in England of Peter Alexander Pedlow on September 29.

Peter is the son of Alex and Betty and father of Peter, Joanne, Stuart and Richard and grandfather of Aimee, Jack, Ross and Mollie.

His funeral service was at his parents’ home at Toberhewny Lane, Lurgan on Sunday, October 7 with interment after at Lurgan Cemetery.

Mary Jane (May) Wethers

The death has taken place peacefully at hospital of Mary Jane (May) Wethers on October 3.

She is the wife of the late David and mother of Francis and Philip.

Her funeral was in St Patrick’s Church, Donaghcloney on Friday followed by interment in Blackskull Methodist Burying Ground.

Thomas Malone

Thomas (Tommy) Malone died suddenly at his home, 34 Gilpin Park, Dollingstown, on October 5.

He was the husband of Rene.

His funeral service was in St Saviour’s Church, Dollingstown, on Monday with interment in Magheralin Parish Churchyard.

James McCormick

The death took place peacefully on October 6 at the Royal Victoria Hospital of James (Jim) McCormick.

He was the husband of Audrey and father of Gordon, Linda and Simon, Mill Hill, Waringstown.

His funeral was on Tuesday to Moira Baptist Church with interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Maureen Arnold

The death took place on October 5 of Maureen Arnold, nee Gaynor, mother of Peter and Martin, Church Walk, Lurgan.

She was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Gaynor and sister of Danny, Nora and Sean.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Peter’s Church followed by burial in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Sean Harbinson

Sean Harbinson, Ennis Close, Lurgan, died suddenly on October 5.

He was the father of Dwayne, Gary and Trudi, the son of Eddie and Ruby and brother of Catherine, Alison, Amanda and Gerard.

His funeral took place on Monday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.
