Elsie Bicker

The death took place peacefully on August 15 at Mountvale Nursing Home of Elsie Bicker, nee Stevenson.

She was the wife of the late Jim, late of Coronation Place, Gibson’s Hill.

She was the mother of Audrey and Trevor.

Her funeral was on Saturday to Knocknamuckley Parish Church with interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Samuel James Turner

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on August 15 of Samuel James Turner, husband of the late Kathleen, 152 Meadowbrook, Craigavon.

He was the father of Michael and Ann-Marie.

His funeral was on Saturday to St Anthony’s Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Mary-Jane McConville

Mary-Jane McConville, nee McKenna, died peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on August 16.

She was the wife of Donald, 16 Hawthorne Drive, Bleary.

Her funeral was on Saturday to St Colman’s Church, Clare, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael Agnew

Michael Agnew, late of Broadwater House, Aghalee, died suddenly on August 16 following a long illness.

He was the husband of the late Marie.

His funeral was on Monday to St Colman’s Church, Kilwarlin, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Averil Marie Cousins

The death took place peacefully at hospital on August 18 of Averil Marie Cousins, 4 Pines Close, Lurgan.

She was the wife of Eric and mother of David, Jim and the late Margaret.

Her funeral was on Monday to Magheralin Parish Church with interment in the adjoining churchyard.

James Lawson McConkey

The death took place suddenly at home on August 18 of James Lawson McConkey, 37 The Slopes, Ballydougan.

He was the husband of Mary and father of Claire, Lynn and David.

His funeral was on Wednesday to Newmills Presbyterian Church with interment in the adjoining burying ground.

Hugh McAteer

The death took place on August 18 of Hugh McAteer, 18 Halls Mill Green, Laurencetown.

Formerly of Fanad, County Donegal, he was the husband of Kathleen, father of Marian, Annette and Sean, father-in-law of Barry and Gary and grandfather to ten grandchildren.

His funeral was on Monday to St Colman’s Church, Laurencetown, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
