Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully at hospital on July 30 of Margaret Burrell, nee Uprichard, late of Waringstown Road, Lurgan.

She was the wife of John, mother of Gail and Samuel and mother-in-law of Andrea.

She was the sister of Derek, Harold, Anne and Stephen and sister-in-law of Lorraine, Anne, Joe and Sarah.

Her funeral was last Wednesday to Shankill Parish Church followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

William McCormick

William (Willie) McCormick, in his 94th year, died peacefully at hospital on August 1.

He was formerly of Castlefinn, County Donegal, and late of Magheralin, County Down.

He was the husband of the late Ellie and father of Jennifer and Andrew.

His funeral was on Friday to Magheralin Parish Church with interment in the adjoining churchyard.
