Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully on October 18 at Craigavon Area Hospital of Kathleen Doran, 15 Taghnevan Close, and formerly of Shankill Street, Lurgan.

Her funeral was on Wednesday of last week to St Paul’s Church followed by interment in the family burying ground.

Kieran Martin

Kieran Martin, of 49 Kilwilkie Road, Lurgan, died suddenly at Craigavon Area Hospital on October 19.

He was the husband of Mary, father of Cavan, son of the late Maureen, brother of Gary and uncle of Conor.

His funeral was to St Peter’s Temporary Church last Thursday followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Florence Mathers

Florence Mathers, of 69 Gilpin Park, Dollingstown, passed away peacefully at hospital on October 20.

She was the mother of Rodney, Edwin and the late Yvonne.

Her funeral service was in St Saviour’s Church, Dollingstown, on Saturday followed by burial in Magheralin Parish Churchyard.

Patrick Conlon

The death took place peacefully at home on October 20 of Patrick Conlon, 1 Blair Park, Lurgan.

He is survived by his wife Carmel and children Bronach, Malachy and Sean.

His funeral was on Friday to St Peter’s Temporary Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Patricia Curran

Patricia Curran, 25 Killough Gardens, Lurgan, died peacefully at Lurgan Hospital on October 20.

She was the wife of the late Bill and mother of Paul.

She was buried on Saturday in St Colman’s Cemetery after a service in St Paul’s Church.

Josephine O’Hagan

The death took place peacefully on October 20 at Mahon Hall Nursing Home of Josephine O’Hagan, nee McGeown, 160 Ballynamoney Cottages, Derrymacash.

She was the wife of the late Harry and sister of Marie and the late Jimmy, Barney, Frank and Patsy.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Noel Uprichard

The death took place peacefully at hospital on October 22 of Noel Uprichard, husband of Betty, 27 Gilpin Park, Dollingstown.

His funeral was on Sunday to Magheralin Parish Church followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Beatrice Allen

Beatrice Allen died peacefully at hospital on October 24.

She was the wife of the late David, Malcolm Road, Lurgan, and mother of Beatrice.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to First Lurgan Presbyterian Church followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.
