Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully on September 16 at Lisnisky Nursing Home of Evelyn Mace, wife of the late Jim and mother of Cliff, Valerie and Peter.

Her funeral service was on Monday in Malcomson’s Funeral Home followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Teresa Flanagan

The death took place on September 17 of Teresa Flanagan, Peavehaven, Rathfriland, and Castle Close, Gilford.

She was the sister of the late Joseph, Gerard, Owen, William, Thomas, Mary, James, Brigid and Philomena.

Her funeral service was on Sunday is St John’s Church, Gilford, followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery, Lawrencetown.

John George Carson

John George Carson, of 7 New Street, Lurgan, died peacefully at hospital on September 18.

He was the husband of Margaret and father of Ann, Hilary, David and Pauline.

His funeral service was on Monday in Malcomson’s Funeral Home followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

John Hobson

The death took place on September 18 at hospital of John Hobson, 14 Donard Gardens, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Eileen and father of Jeffrey, Trevor, Philip, Brian, Lorraine and Judith.

His funeral was from his home on Monday to Lurgan Cemetery.

Lilian Wilson

The death took place peacefully on September 20 at hospital of Lilian Wilson, 14 Hannon Drive, Lurgan.

She was the sister of Isabella and sister-in-law of William.

Her funeral was on Wednesday from her home to Lurgan Cemetery.
