Deaths in the community

The death took place suddenly on August 23 of Robert Scott Victor, aged 49 years.

He was the husband of Tracy and father of Josh and Rachel.

His funeral service was in Moira Methodist Church on Friday followed by a service of committal in Roselawn Crematorium.

Annie Mackin

Annie Mackin, wife of the late Dennis, 45 Miller Park, Laurencetown, died peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on August 25.

She was the mother of Desmond, Patrick, Paul and Kevin.

Her funeral was on Friday to St Patrick and St Colman’s Church followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Vera Skelton

The death took place peacefully on August 25 at Craigavon Area Hospital of Vera Skelton, wife of the late Hugh, 14 Francis Street, Lurgan.

She was the mother of Pat, Gerard, Noel and Mary.

Her funeral was on Friday to St Paul’s Church followed by interment in St Mary’s Cemetery, Derrytrasna.

James Brown

The death took place peacefully at the City Hospital, Belfast, on August 26 of James (Jim) Brown, husband of Eunice, 5 The Oaks, Derrymacash.

He was the father of Philomena, Marian, Eunice, Gerald, Damian, Declan, Eilish, Anita, Patricia, Fedelmia and Pauline.

His funeral was on Saturday to St Patrick’s Church followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Sean McCann

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital of Sean McCann, husband of Grainne, 53 Larkfield Meadows, Lurgan, and formerly of Lurganville, Moira.

he was the father of Odran, Ciaran and Aislin.

His funeral was on Wednesday to St Anthony’s Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery, Kilwarlin.
